From our farm to your table County Road Cattle is a cow calf operation located in Albert Lea, MN supplying you with beef that is ready to fill your freezer. We sell individual cuts by the pound. We also sell beef wholesale by the 1/4, 1/2 and whole processed through a local butcher where you can personalize your cutting orders. We always have ground beef available for sale for $5/pound for local pickup at our farm.

Frederickson Ranch Butcher Beef is ranch raised, grain finished with free choice grass hay, and hormone free. The cattle are raised on our ranch, west of Spearfish, South Dakota. They are hand selected, responsibly raised and sustainably produced directly to you! Our family has dedicated generations of quality beef production and we are excited to offer you the beef we raise and have loved for years. From breeding, birthing, raising and finishing, we want to ensure you know exactly where your beef comes from.

Sell Beef

How We Sell Beef

The hanging weight is the weight after the blood, hide and inedible parts are removed. The hanging weight is approximately 62% of the live weight.

The cut weight is the weight of the actual meat after it is aged for approximately 14 days. The cut weight is less than the hanging weight due to water evaporation during aging, saw cuts, and removal of ligaments, tendons and gristle.

Every animal is different, so these prices will vary based on the weight.

Beef Freezer

How Much Freezer Space

The general rule is 28 pounds of meat per cubic foot of freezer space. We recommend you invest in a 14 cubic foot freezer for a half-cow purchase.
